Reflection
Whatever one makes of Medjugorje theologically, the conversion stories are undeniable. The confessional lines stretch for hours. We met a man who had come as a skeptic and left unable to explain what had happened to him. Climbing Cross Mountain in the dark before dawn, the stars overhead and the Adriatic glinting in the distance — it is a place that does something to you.
