A pilgrimage through Santarém, Fátima, Santiago de Compostela, Oviedo, Covadonga, and the remote mountain village of Garabandal — sites of apparition, devotion, and deep Catholic history.
Garabandal is not easy to reach — a winding mountain road to a tiny village in northern Spain. But that remoteness is part of what makes it so striking. Standing in the Pines where the apparitions occurred, it's impossible not to feel the weight of what was reported there. Fátima, by contrast, is vast and luminous. Both left us changed.
